Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These Terms govern your business use of PLEIRAUM's website, curated music catalog, player, accounts and location licensing features (the “Service”). PLEIRAUM is operated by Yn D'sign EOOD (Уай Ен Дисайн ЕООД), entered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register under EIK 204661192, Sofia, Bulgaria (“PLEIRAUM”, “we” or “us”). By creating an account, starting a trial or purchasing a subscription, you accept these Terms for the business you represent (the “Customer”).

1. A service for businesses

PLEIRAUM makes its curated catalog available for background music in commercial spaces. It is not a consumer music service. The Customer must be a business or other professional organization, and the person accepting these Terms must be authorized to act for it. The Customer must provide accurate account, business and Location information and keep it current.

2. Accounts and access

The Customer is responsible for its account credentials and use by people it authorizes. Credentials must not be sold or transferred outside the Customer's organization. Please notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

3. Licensed Locations

A “Location” is one registered physical business address. The Customer must register each address where it wants to play PLEIRAUM music. A plan covers the number of Locations shown when selected; another address requires a separate available Location entitlement, even if it belongs to the same business. Within an entitled address, the Customer may use the devices and spaces it operates there without a separate device or zone limit. Saved Locations beyond the plan's allowance are not licensed for playback until they become entitled.

4. PLEIRAUM music license

For each registered Location with a valid trial or subscription entitlement, PLEIRAUM grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable contractual permission to stream the PLEIRAUM catalog through the Service as ordinary background music in that Location's commercial premises. This permission lasts only while the relevant Location is entitled and the Customer complies with these Terms. No ownership in the music or Service passes to the Customer.

This permission covers only music supplied through PLEIRAUM. It does not license Spotify, YouTube, radio, television, DJs, live music, customer-supplied audio or any other third-party content. It does not permit the Customer to copy or extract source audio, download or capture streams, redistribute, broadcast, resell or sublicense the music, synchronize it with video, make it available through another service, create a competing library, train AI systems on it, or otherwise exploit it outside the background-music use described above. Any different use requires our prior written agreement.

5. Local music-law obligations

Music and public-performance requirements vary by jurisdiction. The Customer is responsible for checking and complying with any additional requirements that apply where its Location operates. PLEIRAUM's permission covers its catalog within the scope of these Terms; it does not establish whether other local licenses or fees are required.

6. Seven-day trial

An eligible new Customer may receive one seven-day trial. It starts when the first Location is added after the required business information is completed, covers one entitled Location and requires no payment card. A trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. If no paid entitlement is activated, trial playback permission ends when the seven days expire. Trials cannot be restarted or repeatedly claimed by creating new accounts for the same business.

7. License ID, certificate and QR verification

An entitled Location may receive a License ID, public verification URL, QR code and printable certificate during a valid trial or subscription. These identify a PLEIRAUM license record, but their existence does not by itself mean playback is currently authorized. The PLEIRAUM verification page shows the current status, including when a printed certificate is older. A billing renewal alone does not require a monthly reprint.

Changes to a business, Location or subscription may affect its license status; a new physical Location requires its own license record. The certificate and QR document PLEIRAUM's contractual permission only. They are not issued by a government authority or external music rights-management organization.

8. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are offered with the Location allowance, billing interval and price shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew for the selected interval until canceled. Paddle acts as merchant of record for transactions made through its checkout and handles payment collection, applicable transaction taxes and billing documents under its buyer terms. PLEIRAUM, not Paddle, provides and licenses the music Service. The amount and currency presented at checkout control the purchase; taxes or charges are shown there as applicable.

Plan changes and any related charges or credits take effect as shown in the change process or Paddle billing portal. A downgrade may leave some saved Locations without an entitlement. The Customer should check its Account for the affected Locations before playing music there.

9. Cancellation, failed payments and refunds

The Customer may manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal linked from its Account or purchase email. A cancellation scheduled for the end of a paid period normally leaves access in place until its effective date. After entitlement ends, playback permission ends and verification status changes accordingly.

If a payment fails, access may continue temporarily during Paddle's payment-recovery period, but may later be restricted or end if the subscription is not restored. Refunds for Paddle-processed purchases are subject to Paddle's applicable buyer terms and refund policy, as well as any mandatory rights or additional rights offered by PLEIRAUM. The Customer may request a refund through Paddle or contact PLEIRAUM for help. Cancellation does not by itself promise a refund for unused time.

10. Acceptable use

The Customer must not bypass access controls, scrape or systematically copy the catalog, interfere with playback or verification, misrepresent an inactive Location as licensed, alter a certificate or QR to mislead others, or use the Service unlawfully. The Customer is responsible for its own equipment, internet connection and compliance with laws applicable to its premises.

11. Catalog and Service availability

We may add, change or withdraw tracks, playlists or features. We do not promise that any particular selection will remain available. We aim to provide a reliable Service, but maintenance, internet connections, customer equipment and third-party infrastructure can interrupt access. We will use reasonable efforts to address problems within our control; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

12. Intellectual property and third-party services

PLEIRAUM and relevant rights holders retain their respective rights and interests in the catalog, software, design, trademarks and other Service materials. The Customer receives only the permission expressly stated in these Terms. Third-party tools used for payment, mapping, hosting or other functions may have their own terms and availability. Their involvement does not enlarge the PLEIRAUM music license.

13. Suspension and end of use

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach, fraud, a security risk, unlawful use, non-payment or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve a remediable issue. When a Location's entitlement ends or is revoked, the Customer must stop playing PLEIRAUM music there. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including accrued payment obligations and liability limits, survive termination.

14. Responsibility and liability

Each party is responsible for its own breach of these Terms and applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential business losses, including lost profit or revenue. PLEIRAUM's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount paid for the affected Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. It does not reduce the Customer's obligation to pay amounts properly due.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. A public Location verification page may display business identity, address and license-status information so that the certificate can be checked.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law or commercial terms. We will post the updated version and its date and give reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. Material changes will apply prospectively. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if the Customer does not accept them, it should stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

17. Governing law, disputes and contact

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law, subject to directly applicable EU law and any mandatory rules that cannot be displaced. The competent courts in Bulgaria have jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Please contact us first at support@pleiraum.com so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
